‘Strike’ plate loading range offers low maintenance extended duty usage. Construction is from 80mm x 40mm x 3mm box section with 2″ spigots for Olympic plate loading.
The V Squat is an excellent way for users to get into squatting. Many users will use the gym for a number of years and be comfortable with the resistance machines and seated squat. But it can be daunting moving onto a free weights squat at first. A Power cage/Smith will offer some comfort over a squat rack but the V squat is great choice too. The V squat allows the user to perform the exercise on a pivot rather than full free weights. This can be more comfortable and safer for a relatively inexperienced gym user. The V squat features convenient plate loading, rubber stops and a mechanism which allows the user to start in the mid range of the exercise, (handle release). The Thick shoulder pads also add comfort for the user and for this reason some prefer to squat on this machine rather than a smith Machine. BUT, not just for beginners!!! If a user wishes to go for a personal best or heavy load then the V squat will give more confidence over traditional free weight squat, even with a spotter.

The extreme duty machines are all plate loading and function via fulcrums, bearings and pivots. This results in a range which has no cables and is very low maintenance. For those who are used to training with Lifefitness Hammer Strength this is the range to pick. Several of the heavy duty machines in the range are of ISO design offering independent limb exercise.
